PROJECT SUPPORT CONSULTANT
Ellis Eckles is a Project Support Consultant at ArroyoWest, where she contributes to strategic initiatives that strengthen nonprofit and small business ecosystems across California. A proud graduate of UCLA’s Luskin School of Public Affairs, Ellis specialized in disability studies and child welfare, areas that continue to shape her equity-focused approach to community development.
Prior to joining ArroyoWest, Ellis gained hands-on experience in both the arts and policy sectors. She managed operations for a small business art installation company and gallery in Downtown Los Angeles, building a strong foundation in small business management. Ellis also served as a policy analyst at the UCLA Pritzker Center, where she worked alongside lawmakers to evaluate California’s child welfare policies and identify systems-level strategies for foster care prevention and reform.
Driven by a commitment to inclusive and sustainable change, Ellis brings a unique blend of analytical insight and creative problem-solving to every project. Outside of work, she enjoys baking sourdough, exploring new restaurants, traveling abroad, and spending quality time with friends and family.
